Now Blizzard has released 14 new screenshots showing off some pretty action packed gameplay from the long awaited sequel and we have added them to our already huge gallery of shots from the title. It seems the Terran, Zerg and Protoss have no mercy as they pound each other into dust with tons of units, weapons and general chaos. Again, there's still no release date but at least we know more of what to expect.

New Starcraft 2 screenshots emerge from BlizzCon
It's been a eventful week for people awaiting Starcraft II and BlizzCon didn't dissapoint. The event revealed that the still unreleased Blizzard sci-fi RTS game would in fact be released as three stand alone titles with each of the game's three playable races getting their own single player game (full multiplayer will still be released in the first game with the other two being basically stand alone single player expansion packs).

New Star Trek Online screenshots show character options
It's been a little while since there's been news on Star Trek Online, the upcoming Cryptic Studios MMO based on the long running sci-fi franchise. This week, however, Cryptic did release three new screenshots from the game. Two of them are rather bland environment shots but the third shows how the game will handle player character visuals.
The shot shows six female portraits and each of them is a different species in the Trek universe, from Human to Klingon to Andorian and more (hey, where's the Orion slave girl portrait, Cryptic?). Since the developer knows how to make a character creation tool from their previous work on City of Heroes, we are betting their work in this area will be stellar. Star Trek Online still does not have an official release date.

Activision to release "value priced" Secret Service
We are always wary of so-called "value priced" games. Unless they are pre-packaged versions of older games we love, the term "value priced" usually means "crappy". Hopefully the new Activision published game Secret Service will be an exception. The first person shooter will be priced at just $19.99 for the PC version.
The game depicts a fictional attack on Washington DC as your Secret Service character must fight to protect the US government and its leaders. The press release does state the game does not have the approval or input from the real US Secret Service. No development team is named but our press release does state it has "story and level design contributions" from former Naughty Dog team member Daniel Arey. The game will be released sometime later in 2008.

New Diablo III screenshots show off the Wizard
BlizzCon is well underway but Blizzard hasn't forgotten those that can't attend. The official web site for Diablo III has just been updated with info and new screenshots of the just revealed third player class, The Wizard. The screenshots show only the female form of the class; the male version apparently is being kept under wraps.
The dozen and one screenshots show off the wizard dealing some damage with various powers and are among the best looking shots yet released for the game as the character is shown using several of her various powers. Again, stay tuned as our team will be giving hands-on impressions of the game later this weekend.

New Spider-Man: Web of Shadows screenshots show off new characters
Activision's latest Spider-Man game Web of Shadows is only a few weeks away from being released and today the developer sent over a boarload of new screenshots that introduce some of the other Marvel Universe based characters that will make an apperance in the open world action game.
Two of Spider-Man's big villains are included in these shots; the shocking (hehe) Electro and the massive Rhino. The sexy Russian superspy Black Widow (who is non-superpowered by the way) also makes an appearance in the game. The oddest new character is Moon Knight, the mysterious Egyptian based hero that gains strenght by how full the Moon is. The Treyarch-Shaba Games developed title is due out this November.

New Tom Clancy's HAWX screenshots buzz the tower
We may have to wait until the first quarter of 2009 to buzz the tower with this game but thanks to the Tokyo Game Show, Ubisoft has an excuse to give us some new screenshots for Tom Clancy's HAWX, their upcoming near-future flying action game.
The new shots show off some of the very good looking aircraft models in the game include a couple of shots that show off what looks like a revamped version of Air Force One. Of course there's also shots of the advanced fighters and fighter-bombers that the game will have and you can be the pilots can go inverted in a 4 G spin...whatever that means. Hey, it's been a while since we have seen Top Gun.

More new Street Fighter IV screenshots come forth
Bionic Commando isn't the only multiplatform game that's being shown at the Tokyo Game Show by Capcom. The publisher is also showing off Street Fighter IV, the next game in their long running fighting game series. Many were surprised when Capcom announced this game would be coming to the PC alongside its console counterparts.
For TGS, Capcom has released new screenshots for the game, depicting more of the cel-shaded style of art that the Street Fighter series is known for. We will have to wait until 2009 for the game's release. Capcom reportedly plans to wait until the upcoming Street Fighter live action film heads to theaters to ship Street Fighter IV.

New Dungeon Party screenshots
Several months ago, French developer Cyanide Studios announced plans for Dungeon Party, a free to play MMO with a cartoony art style. It's been a while since new info has been released on the game but this week Cyanide released new screenshots of Dungeon Party for all to see on the game's official forums.
While the game apparently missed its beta test date for this past summer Dungeon Party is now scheduled for launch in the first quarter of 2009. It's still going to have players pick from six character classes and then battle in teams of five players against another team searching for treasure with a number of traps and monsters to deal with in each round.

New Prince of Persia screenshots come from TGS
Ubisoft has a pretty busy line up of games for the fall/holiday season and one of them, Prince of Persia, is due out in early December. Thanks to the Tokyo Game Show we have a number of new screenshots from the game that we can show off to you.
As with the previous screens, these new shots continue to show off the new illustrative art style of the revamped game. Gone is all that time bending as the new Prince of Persia title is more concerned with combat and platform gameplay, Again, Ubisoft is also hoping that the upcoming Prince of Persia movie (due out in 2010) will also bring new attension to their franchise.

New TGS Bionic Commando screenshots appear
The Tokyo Game Show is mostly for console game released but there are a few PC and multiplatform titles out there. Case in point is Bionic Commando, the upcoming full sequel to Capcom's action game franchise. The publisher sent out some new TGS screenshots showing off more images from the title.
Developed by GRIN, the third person action game was supposed to be out this fall but got pushed back until 2009. Until then the remake of the original game, Bionic Commando Rearmed, is available for download now (although Capcom has yet to offer a free demo of the title, alas). In the meantime these new screens will have to do.

New Legendary screenshots show themselves

The new screenshots show off lots of the monster attacks that are at the heart of Legendary which shows what happens if Pandora's Box was not only a real thing but if someone unwittingly opens up its contents. The new shots show off what looks like a massive tentacled creature that is destroying London. So far there's no word on if a PC demo for Legendary is in the works.
Mac Monday: Magic Match Adventures
How do you expand on the same-old, same-old symbol-matching gameplay of Bejeweled and make it fresh? Games like Puzzle Quest do admirably by providing an overarching storyline and adding cumulative elements like experience to help your character level up. Red Marble Games' Magic Match Adventures doesn't go quite that far, but it's closer to that than it is to Bejeweled. What's it all about, Alfie? Read on to find out!
New Diablo III screenshots are heavy
With Blizzard about to launch their (sort of) annual Blizzcon event next week, the developer is continuing to post up new screenshots of their upcoming action-RPG Diablo III to the game's official web site. Today is no different as seven fresh shots are now available (and yes we have added them to our ever growing gallery).
With Blizzcon now just a week away many are speculating on what will be show. We are going to guess that World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King will be playable. We suspect Diablo III might be playable as well for the first time in public. The big question is what is happening with Starcraft II, Blizzard's upcoming RTS game. The developer hasn't issues any new screenshots in a while, unlike what they have been doing for Diablo III recently. We won't have long to find out.
